We are going to show you some of the work in our portfollio. Thumbnails
are buttons to click for a larger image. Remember that larger images take
longer to load. We will give you before and after images to show you what
can be done. Our desire is that you will be hopeful when you see what we
can do for your photographs.

This 70 year old portrait was torn,
faded and molded.
We repaired the tear, removed the mold spots, rebuilt the ruined
parts of the picture, adjusted the light and contrast and sharpened
the image. |

This 124 year old portrait was taken on a tintype. It was so dark
that the image could hardly be seen. (click to see)
After brightening, we removed the spots and rebuilt the image, set
the levels and sharpened. |

This 122 year old portrait was taken on some of the first photographic
paper. It was scratched, molded and faded. The original was very yellowed.

This 30 year old college picture was torn,
wrinkled faded and damaged.
We repaired the damages, set the levels and brightness. Taking that
picture, we added color from another picture of her taken near the
same time period to stay true to her coloration. We slimmed the image
down because it was unnaturally heavy. |

This snapshot with flash caught one of the girls in a bad postiion
which caused the "redeye" phenomenon.
We "fixed" the redeye and set the overal tone of the picture
and sharpened. |

This picture had distractions in the background and did not bring
out the adorable details of the subject.
We changed the depth of field to make the background fade out and
brightened her face while sharpening the details. (click to see a

This portrait was one of the Variety store specials
so common 20 years ago. The painfull truth is the paper was cheap
and bled the red tint over the whole, ruining the portrait.
We color corrected to rescue the colors of the original. Set the
brightness and sharpened the image. (This is harder than it sounds.)
Please do not wait until your pictures bled this badly. It is much
easier to archive them now or to rescue them now. If your pictures
are changing, they will continue to do so over time. |

 |
Once again, the same situation with the cheap portraits. Parents are
trying to get a keepsake picture. Often they do not have money for
a better sitting.
This was a nightmare of correction. We cannot stress enough for you
to not wait until your pictures are this bad to fix and/or archive. |

This snapshot of an old picture of this coulple's
wedding celebration was hanging on the wall of someone else's home.
The couple had no pictures of the time around their marriage. For
their 50th wedding anniversary, we took the copy and colorized it.
The couple did not know that the work was going on.
The completed picture was framed and presented at the 50th Anniversary
party much to their delight. |
